Medication Care Partner

Cogir of Queen Anne is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Care Partner to join our team. As a Medication Care Partner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our senior residents by providing direct care and support with medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily medication administration, including self-administration.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date charting documentation and report resident status changes.
- Coordinate medication orders and deliveries with pharmacies.
- Maintain current and accurate medication files and medical records.
- Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living to residents in a team setting as needed.
- Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to residents by offering continuous engagement and companionship.
- Encourage and assist with participation in life enrichment activity programs.
- Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
Requirements:
- Positive team player attitude and love working with people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred.
- Current HCA or CNA license, or willingness to obtain one within a prescribed period.
- Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
- Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.
- Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), or Senior Living experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
