Senior Manager, Employee Communications Specialist

The OpportunityThis position plays a critical role in building global employee engagement and driving external advocacy efforts to help make Abbott a trusted household name. As a key member of the Employee Communications team, you will work closely with colleagues to identify effective strategies, content, and activations to build employee connections with Abbott's purpose and spread the word about the great things the company does.
Key Responsibilities- Lead operations for Abbott's employee advocacy program, directing content strategy and program operations, training, growth, and expansion.
- Manage engagement and metrics for Abbott's employee advocacy program, providing ongoing engagement opportunities for advocacy members and leading ongoing measurement strategy, identifying key performance indicators.
- Lead and expand the network of global Abbott site communications liaisons to help connect employees with purpose and build engagement and community among the champions.
- Lead one or more Abbott-wide engagement programs for Abbott employees globally, providing support for corporate marketing or public affairs employee engagement initiatives as requested.
- Act as the Employee Communications liaison for global marketing initiatives.
- Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree, masters degree a plus.
- 7+ years' experience in communications management, marketing, and project management.
- Exceptional communication skills; presentation, oral, written, and listening.
- Experienced social media content strategist and writer.
- Experienced collaborator across multi-disciplinary and global project teams.
