Commercial Sales Manager

Welcome to Gordon Food Service, where we're passionate about delivering excellence to our customers. As a Commercial Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in presenting our customers with a consultative, relationship-focused approach that will make their food service businesses thrive.
This position will reside in a dynamic environment where you'll lead a team of high-performing, results-driven outside sales representatives. Your goal will be to develop sales targets for individual sales representatives, understand areas of customer focus, and engage with the industry to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations.
As a Commercial Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading People: Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders
- Developing Business Plans: Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives and understand areas of customer focus
- Engaging with the Industry: Visit key existing and future customers to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations
We're looking for someone with four or more years of previous sales or business experience, demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models, and ability to work evening and weekend hours.
