Job Opportunity: Environmental Scientist/Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist/Project Manager to join our team at Actalent. This is a hybrid position that requires some days on-site in New York, New York and some days remote.

About the Role:

The Environmental Scientist/PM will conduct field visits, inspections, and take photos as needed. The role involves spending 3 days online in office reporting, planning, managing, preparing, and overseeing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and other due diligence activities including both office and field tasks. In the field, the candidate will work independently or lead a team at exterior project sites such as industrial/brownfield facilities, monitoring wells, treatment systems, and construction projects. Responsibilities include performing site visits/inspections, sample collection, and oversight of subcontractors.

Requirements:

5+ years doing Phase I site assessment
Ability to travel throughout NYC to project sites for inspections
Strong report writing skills
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geology
