Job Description

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead our Environmental group in New York State. This individual will oversee the work efforts of assigned staff and coordinate the technical and managerial direction provided by Management regarding scope, schedule, quality, and budget of projects. Responsible for monitoring and assisting in achieving department, division, and corporate financial measures. Senior Project Managers are responsible for the overall management of large-scale, complex projects and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, making adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors and team members.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field from an accredited higher education institution.
  • 10+ years of professional experience leading projects and facilitating teams within the Environmental Engineering field.
  • Prior experience as a Project Manager in the Consulting field is preferred.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification is preferred.
  • 8-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Supervisor Certification is helpful.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety & Health Standards for Construction is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
