Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our Due Diligence team. As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting Phase 1 Environmental Assessments and Property Condition Assessments, as well as writing technical client reports.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) Phase 1 as per ASTM standards, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection and reporting.
- Conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCA) as per ASTM standards, providing detailed reports on the condition of properties.
- Prepare and implement Health and Safety Plans/Job Safety Analyses for sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Assist senior managers in the coordination of work activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with project staff members and subcontractors to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or related environmental field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in an environmental scientist role, conducting ASTM Phase I assessments and Property Condition Assessments.
- Working knowledge of ASTM assessment standards and regulations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and project stakeholders.
- Strong technical report writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in CAD and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently for field work.
