Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist I to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our therapeutic services team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patient populations for therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition to identify therapy needs.
  • Establish a plan of care that is tailored to the patient's specific needs and involves the patient and their family/caregiver as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and their families/caregivers about patient deficits and provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Supervise and delegate the care provided by therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards.
  • Provide critical thinking and decisive judgment to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
