Team Overview
This team operates under the Global Finance division of Vestas Shared Services Centre, providing standardized, rule-based services across regions, particularly in fixed asset management.

Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and optimize end-to-end Fixed Asset Accounting processes, including investment order creation, capitalization, settlements, depreciation, and asset rollforward.
- Manage complex entities and execute finance processing of Fixed Assets in accordance with Vestas Standard Operating Procedures and Financial Guidelines.
- Collaborate proactively with colleagues in AP/AR/TE, Controlling, Reporting, and business stakeholders to resolve operational challenges efficiently.
- Conduct analytical reviews to monitor KPIs and PPIs for assigned regions.
- Prepare and submit SAP GRC control documentation in a timely manner.
- Serve as Deputy Team Lead and Subject Matter Expert, assisting with stakeholder management and team support.
- Drive clean-up initiatives for Fixed Assets and Lease accounts.
- Update and maintain process documentation for country exceptions in the global repository.
- Participate actively in internal and external audits, representing the team as needed.
- Train new hires and facilitate refresher training across teams.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- Background in Fixed Assets, General Ledger functions, Reporting, or Controlling.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a BPO or Shared Services environment.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies; white belt training is a plus.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Flexibility to work on holidays and various shifts as needed.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different working styles.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks independently.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
