About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at BigFoot Staffing. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy-duty industrial machinery, including manual lathes and knee mills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble and rebuild complete units and/or parts.
  • Maintain and adjust machinery to produce high-quality products.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on precision.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical background and knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new machinery and processes.
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, sit, or kneel for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend at the waist and step up and down.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to judge distance and size accurately.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time hourly position, working four 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday (3-Day weekends).
