Role Overview:
As a Pump Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling vacuum pumps and their components, testing and calibrating units to ensure they meet specified tolerances and product standards. You will conduct testing in accordance with internal guidelines and communicate results to relevant departments. Additionally, you will finalize the assembly of certain components onto pump systems and undertake other related tasks as assigned.

Main Responsibilities:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Assembling a variety of pumps and associated components
- Testing units to ensure compliance with tolerances and product specifications
- Upholding the company's stringent quality assurance standards
- Documenting information on work orders as required
- Operating under limited supervision
- Conducting specific visual and measurement inspection checks during the process
- Compiling and reporting inspection result data
- Performing quality audits as directed
- Suggesting improvements to inspection methods as necessary.



Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. Key qualifications include:

- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in measuring and handling various complex components
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Experience with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
- Basic math skills for data analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access Database)
- Good interpersonal communication skills.



Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally with some background in final assembly inspection processes.

Language Skills:
Candidates should possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret written documents, as well as interpret technical charts and drawings and respond professionally to common inquiries.

Compensation:
Competitive wage range: $20.00 - $24.00. In return, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, company-paid short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, generous vacation time (3 weeks/year), sick leave (40 hours/year), floating holidays (5 per year), education reimbursement, referral bonuses, and paid holidays.
