Position Summary:


The Senior Epic Analyst II plays a crucial role in the configuration, management, and support of clinical applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system for healthcare clients.

This position involves addressing support and maintenance requests, executing routine builds, participating in on-call rotations, and engaging in special projects such as Epic Upgrades as required by the client.


Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, the individual must effectively perform the following essential functions:

  • Act as the primary analyst for Epic maintenance, build, and configuration.
  • Oversee client trouble tickets and requests, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.
  • Lead application builds for Epic upgrades and manage Nova Note Review and Build.
  • Implement testing protocols and support go-live activities in a command center environment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement proactively, mentor junior analysts, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and peers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and information systems is necessary.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily in-office, with potential hybrid or remote options subject to management approval.

Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel is expected (less than 5%).

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role include:

  • Frequent: Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination, and repetitive motions.
  • Occasional: Standing and bending.
  • Infrequent: Lifting up to 10 pounds.
