Position Overview

Your role will be to create memorable experiences filled with joy, lasting connections, and, of course, outstanding culinary delights.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
  • Adhere to the preparation checklist
  • Prepare a variety of dishes according to production standards, established recipes, and portioning protocols
  • Utilize scales accurately for portion measurement
  • Learn and implement all specific kitchen terminology, plating methods, menu items, processes, tools, abbreviations, and techniques
  • Demonstrate proficiency in navigating kitchen equipment
  • Ensure portion control and minimize waste in accordance with established standards
  • Skillfully operate various kitchen tools, including sharp implements
  • Comply with food safety regulations by properly storing and labeling food items
  • Follow appropriate procedures for cooling, labeling, and rotating all prepared food
  • Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Regularly monitor food supplies and restock as necessary
  • Adhere to health and food safety regulations
  • Perform cleaning duties during and at the conclusion of shifts
  • Capable of undertaking additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Effective at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Exhibit composure in high-pressure situations
  • Possess strong time management abilities
  • Accurately handle cash and credit transactions
  • Reliable with a flexible work schedule
  • Engage in and complete necessary training or certifications required by the company, federal regulations, or state mandates for the position
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience and/or training in the culinary field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 90 pounds
  • Team members will work in humid environments and handle cleaning chemicals, necessitating frequent hand washing for all roles
