Job Title: Branch Manager

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Manhattan, KS branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving retail growth and profitability, coaching and developing staff, and upholding legendary customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee branch retail growth and profitability
  • Coach and develop staff to achieve sales and production goals
  • Establish and uphold legendary customer service standards
  • Control expenses and manage branch operations
  • Coordinate staff efforts to ensure effective completion of functions
  • Assist in sales team initiatives, including weekly joint sales calls
  • Represent the bank in a favorable light and participate in community events
  • Hire, train, and direct staff, evaluating performance and recommending promotions or terminations
  • Maintain highly qualified staff and adhere to approved allocation
  • Develop and coach staff to provide legendary customer service
  • Plan and assign daily goals, tasks, and assignments
  • Monitor and manage office tasks, including CTR, optical reports, and NSF
  • Ensure branch adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Act as a branch security representative and enforce the Security Policy
Requirements:
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience, with banking experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Ability to relate well with others and build effective business relationships
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with math calculations and computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Excellent verbal, telephone, and written communication skills
  • Sales ability and persuasiveness
  • Interpersonal skills, including trust, diplomacy, courtesy, and tact
  • Exceptional customer service, sales, leadership, teamwork, and management skills
  • Working knowledge of bank operations
  • Ability to develop and achieve group goals
