Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Stormwater/Civil Project Engineer. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for participating in innovative stormwater planning and design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in project teams for stormwater planning and design projects, utilizing your expertise in stormwater permitting, best management practices, and green infrastructure sizing calculations.
- Develop construction drawings, erosion and sediment control plans, and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct field work and site visits from design through construction, as needed.
- Manage projects, including coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in stormwater planning and design, with a Professional Engineering license.
- Technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS, with experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software a plus.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Occasional local and regional travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor of Science in civil, biological & agricultural, environmental or biosystems engineering.
