  • Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure accuracy and feasibility before production.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continually improve design quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of designs, including specifications, materials, and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, industrial design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably within the millwork or woodworking industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, IX, Inventor, or similar), knowledge of CNC programming, and familiarity with design for manufacturability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design and documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot design challenges and provide practical solutions.
  • Understanding of millwork manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
