Stormwater Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stormwater/Civil Engineer to join our team at Hazen and Sawyer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stormwater planning and design, with experience in innovative project teams and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

• Participate in project teams for stormwater planning and design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Develop and implement stormwater permitting strategies, best management practice/green infrastructure sizing calculations, and construction drawings.
• Conduct field work and site visits from design through construction, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project objectives.
• Utilize technical skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS, with additional experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software a plus.
• Develop and maintain excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project results to stakeholders.

• 0-5 years of experience in stormwater planning and design, with EI certification required.
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS, with additional experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software a plus.

• Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Professional Engineering license advantageous.

Bachelor of Science in civil, biological & agricultural, environmental or biosystems engineering.
