We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a CICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiac conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with cardiac conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patient needs are met and goals are achieved.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiac care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration among colleagues.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
