About the Role

This position oversees the daily operations of the Med Surg unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient departmental functioning. The successful candidate will lead a team of clinical managers and nursing staff to achieve performance improvement goals, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and develop a team of clinical managers and nursing staff to achieve performance improvement goals.
  2. Develop and implement effective processes to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and customer satisfaction.
  3. Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to advance hospital objectives.
  5. Model excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
  • Three years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in a management role.
