Job Summary

The PRS Intervention Case Manager will work closely with our team to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and family preservation services to vulnerable children. You will conduct weekly in-person therapeutic support sessions, maintain regular communication with supervisors, and submit detailed documentation in compliance with LIRS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly in-person therapeutic support sessions for clients, focusing on crisis intervention, safety planning, and family preservation.
  • Provide therapeutically centered ongoing intensive case management for vulnerable children with special circumstances.
  • Maintain regular and timely communication with supervisors around issues concerning child safety, stability, or well-being.
  • Submit detailed and thorough documentation in compliance with LIRS policies and procedures.
  • Travel by car or public transportation within an assigned region or, in emergent circumstances, occasionally outside that assigned region.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other relevant behavioral science with direct clinical experience.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure.
  • Ability to travel to home visits and other service agencies to serve clients.
  • Availability of a vehicle meeting safety and mechanical requirements for travel within an assigned radius.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to LIRS's core mission and values and an ability to model those values in relationship with colleagues and partners.
