Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Residential Asset Management team at JBG SMITH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing financial analysis and modeling to support the development and implementation of strategies to maximize the value of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial analysis and modeling to support asset management decisions
  • Interact with various teams, including investment, development, property management, leasing, capital market, and accounting
  • Provide due diligence and closing support during major capitalization events
  • Assist in evaluating value creation opportunities and preparing comprehensive annual strategic plans
  • Coordinate reporting processes and interact with outside parties, including lenders, joint venture partners, and tenants
Requirements:
  • 0-3 years of financial analysis experience with an exceptional academic record and superior quantitative skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and strong quantitative skills
  • Basic knowledge of financing and underwriting methodologies
  • Conscientious, self-directed, and entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
