Financial Analyst III Job Description

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst III to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning and analysis team, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial planning and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reporting to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze key financial and operating metrics to identify trends, track progress, and make recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Design and implement new initiatives and special projects, demonstrating the ability to work on multiple projects and priorities.
  • Support business needs and requests from finance leadership to drive enhanced insights and improve business performance.
  • Enhance and develop tools to support better decision making across the company, leveraging Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Develop and maintain resources, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, templates, guidance, and reports, to document existing financial management tasks and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of team deliverables.
  • Support documenting business processes, workflows, and deliverables.
  • Perform analysis and review of data refinement to support efficient review and evaluation.
  • Perform technical editing and formatting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
  • 4+ years of experience in operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
  • Significant experience in federal programs or operations.
  • Federal Government experience.
  • Experience in business management software.
  • Knowledge and experience with inter-departmental government protocols and issues.
  • Agile methodologies.
Desired Skills:
  • Federal Government experience.
  • Experience in business management software.

  • ITIL v4 Fundamentals.
  • Expert with Microsoft Software Programs (Visio, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to understand requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong proofreading, grammar, and editing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to develop, document, and ensure adherence to technical standards.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to sustain your own assigned project work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to receive direction from multiple managers and support multiple team members simultaneously.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with team members and management.
  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders.
  • Process-driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods.
  • Commitment to responsiveness and achieving tasks on deadline.
