We are an esteemed real estate management company, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of over 150 investment properties across Oregon, Washington, and California. Our team is built on the principles of integrity, leadership, trust, loyalty, quality, and commitment.
The successful candidate will be tasked with managing our Bellevue office, fostering strong relationships with clients, and addressing any concerns they may have regarding their properties.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Formulating and administering company policies, as well as developing long-term goals and objectives.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing education on industry trends and news, and ensuring seamless property operations.
- Directing and coordinating departmental activities to drive goal attainment.
- Determining regional manager and administrative staffing levels.
- Reviewing analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to assess department progress.
- Conferencing with senior personnel to discuss achievements and required changes in goals or objectives.
This role also involves serving as a member of various committees, including the Forms Committee, Safety Committee, and State coalition, while participating in professional associations and legislative efforts to implement and enforce company compliance with new legislation.
Additionally, this position entails supervising employees in the Property Management department, interviewing, hiring, and training staff, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises employees in the Property Management department, ensuring they adhere to company policies and applicable laws.
- Coaches regional managers and administrative staff on difficult situations, employee relations, personal performance issues, etc.
Ongoing responsibilities include leading monthly Regional Manager meetings, occasionally filling in as Regional Manager for a community when needed, coordinating with Accounting Manager and ManageAmerica on system feature rollouts, monitoring community delinquencies, spot-checking Regional Manager cover letters, receiving reject bills, reviewing community or resident issues, visiting properties annually, processing community resident application overrides, prompting regional managers to conduct market surveys, determining and approving course materials for Commonwealth University's new manager training program, and overseeing various functions such as rent increases, new account set-ups, and after-hours emergency phone lists.
