POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Private Equity (PE) team. This role involves overseeing our investment allocations within the private equity sector, which constitutes a substantial portion of our overall investment portfolio. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the PE team to identify, evaluate, and manage both new and existing fund investments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, capable of dissecting intricate data to uncover potential risks and opportunities. This role demands a collaborative spirit, as you will work alongside seasoned professionals to enhance our investment strategies. Additionally, you will play a key role in the underwriting process and maintain essential relationships with our private equity partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Analysis and Due Diligence

  • Conduct thorough analyses of potential private equity investment opportunities, including fund commitments and principal investments.
  • Assist in the due diligence process, reviewing Private Placement Memoranda (PPM), performing financial modeling, and evaluating track records.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management through detailed reports and presentations.
  • Perform reference checks and assess the leadership, strategy, and financial health of potential investment opportunities.
  • Support negotiations with investment management partners and maintain comprehensive documentation of the due diligence process.

Portfolio Management

  • Coordinate with investment managers and analysts to monitor portfolio performance and risk.
  • Assist in the development and reporting of diverse investment strategies.
  • Prepare performance reports and contribute to risk assessments related to the private equity portfolio.
  • Foster professional relationships within the investment community to identify promising investment opportunities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of professional experience in private equity investment or a related field involving data analysis and financial modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting is highly desirable. Familiarity with investment underwriting processes will be advantageous.
