As part of our Private Equity team, you will play a vital role in managing our diverse portfolio, which includes significant allocations to private equity assets. This position offers the opportunity to engage with a wide range of investment strategies and collaborate with top-tier global investors.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our Private Equity Funds team. This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in private equity funds, contributing to a portfolio valued at approximately $34 billion. You will also collaborate with our principal investment team on co-investment opportunities.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, possesses strong analytical skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will assist in the underwriting process and maintain relationships with private equity general partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Analysis and Due Diligence

  • Conduct thorough analysis of potential private equity investments, including fund commitments and principal investments.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, reviewing Private Placement Memoranda (PPM), financial models, and benchmarking tools.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on investment opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative assessments.
  • Evaluate the leadership and operational strategies of potential investment organizations.
  • Assist in negotiating investment management partnerships and document the due diligence process.

Portfolio Management

  • Coordinate with investment managers and analysts to monitor portfolio performance.
  • Assess portfolio diversification and assist in the development of investment strategies.
  • Prepare performance reports and conduct risk assessments related to the private equity portfolio.
  • Maintain professional relationships within the investment community to identify new opportunities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A Master’s degree may substitute for one year of required experience.

• Minimum of one year of professional experience in private equity investment or a related field, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and financial modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One to five years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting.

• Familiarity with underwriting private equity investments and fund offerings.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficient in financial modeling and valuation analysis.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
