About the Role: The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County (HOC) is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Projects Coordinator to join our Resident Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in executing diverse strategic projects that drive positive impact within our community.

This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week after a successful 6-month probation period. You will serve as the main project lead for key strategic initiatives, including HOC Bridge – a new direct cash assistance initiative and the HOC Volunteer Corps. Your excellent interpersonal skills, cultural humility, and ability to engage sensitively and constructively with departments and cross-functional teams will be essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in project coordination or program management, preferably in a social services setting. A degree in Public Administration, Business, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field is required. If you possess exceptional project management skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and be detail-oriented, we encourage you to apply.
