Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR initiatives and collaborate with our management team. Our organization is recognized for its commitment to creating a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing health and welfare programs, including enrollments and changes.
  • Support the HR leadership in employee relations and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with California regulations.
  • Provide customer service by addressing employee inquiries.
  • Facilitate the termination process and related documentation.
  • Conduct audits of payroll and benefits programs, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary contact for workers' compensation claims.
  • Coordinate mandatory training sessions for sexual harassment prevention.
  • Maintain records of California HISL credentials.
  • Oversee the I-9 verification process.
  • Respond to claims related to disability, unemployment, and paid family leave.
  • Handle national medical support and child support orders.
  • Assist in the performance review process.
  • Support recruitment and interview logistics.
  • Schedule meetings for the HR leadership.
  • Organize and maintain employee files.
  • Prepare correspondence as needed.
  • Manage new hire documentation.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes.
  • Handle Employee Change Forms efficiently.
  • Oversee the safety rewards program.
  • Participate in team meetings and events.
  • Assist in organizing recruitment events and company gatherings.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying and document management.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Experience with HRIS systems is preferred.
