- Oversee the daily functioning of the practice, which includes managing patient appointments, maintaining medical records, performing data entry, handling cash transactions, and ensuring the upkeep of office facilities and technology.
- Lead and mentor medical office staff to optimize operational efficiency, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure high standards of patient service are maintained, addressing any patient inquiries or issues promptly.
- Develop, implement, and uphold office policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide administrative support to physicians by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
- Act as the primary liaison between the practice and the corporate team.
- Proven experience in billing and financial management is essential.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- In-depth understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and other pertinent medical regulations.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in MS Word and Excel.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Hands-on leadership style with a commitment to team development.
- Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Compensation: Starting salary of $52,000
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a medical office.
- Preferred experience in dermatology, though not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical software and a solid understanding of coding (ICD-10) and billing processes.
- Demonstrated success in fostering a positive office culture and collaborative teams to improve patient satisfaction and practice growth.
- Associate's degree is required.
