Family Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Services Manager to join our team at Paladin, Inc. - Head Start of LaPorte County. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance) functions within the Head Start program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to enhance parent, family, and community engagement in alignment with Head Start's PFCE framework.
- Oversee the eligibility determination and enrollment processes to ensure compliance with Head Start performance standards and regulations.
- Supervise the selection process to ensure it is conducted fairly and in accordance with program policies.
- Review and approve selection criteria and processes to meet program goals and performance standards.
- Oversee monitoring of attendance records and implement strategies to address attendance issues.
- Develop and implement plans to support families in overcoming barriers to consistent attendance.
- Supervise and support ERSEA staff, including providing training, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional development.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and share best practices.
- Ensure accurate and confidential management of ERSEA data and records.
- Prepare and submit reports on ERSEA activities, including enrollment, recruitment, and attendance data, to federal, state, and local agencies.
- Ensure all ERSEA activities adhere to Head Start regulations, performance standards, and other relevant policies.
- Conduct regular audits of ERSEA processes and documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
- Work closely with the Head Start Program Director, other program managers, and community partners to support program goals.
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and community stakeholders to address concerns and promote the program.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, education, public administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in managing ERSEA functions and leading a team.
- Strong knowledge of Head Start performance standards and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Strong understanding of Head Start performance standards and the PFCE framework.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community partners.
