Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team in a resource room setting for grades 3-4. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Orton Gillingham-based reading instruction and be able to provide individualized support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct instruction and support in a resource room setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure seamless integration of special education services
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student progress and success
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and implement evidence-based strategies in the classroom
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education or related field
- Teacher License from the New Mexico Public Education Department
