Job Title: Full-Time Sales Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Full-Time Sales Professional to join our dynamic sales team at the Bowling Green Daily News. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital and print marketing strategies for local businesses, driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business owners, marketing executives, and directors to understand their business needs and develop tailored digital and print marketing solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales expectations, goals, and budgets, and manage your own book of digital and print sales revenue for retention and growth.
  • Learn and master our digital and print advertising products and tools, and develop strong relationships with clients to drive recurring revenue.
  • Manage your digital and print book of business using client management tools and software, and design, write, and present marketing proposals and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across all departments and support staff to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience in digital media or digital media sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Personal presence to represent the Bowling Green Daily News at trade events and take the lead in the business community related to digital marketing thought leadership.
  • Passion for helping others, both internal and external customers.
  • The ability to prospect and network with business decision-makers across a broad range of business types and sizes.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, sales acumen, and a take-ownership attitude related to client satisfaction and retention.
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, and excellent written and oral presentation skills.
