Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations, assisting physicians with imaging procedures, and operating and maintaining radiographic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform radiographic examinations following established protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Assisting Physicians: Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in imaging procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Lab Testing: Manage CLIA-waived laboratory testing, including urinalysis, rapid strep tests, and glucose monitoring.
  • Documentation: Document patient information, test results, and procedures accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Certification: ARRT certification and state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
