We are in search of a highly proficient and driven Senior Manufacturing Engineer eager to engage with a dynamic and fast-paced organization. As a vital member of our Manufacturing Division, you will oversee manufacturing processes encompassing planning, design, implementation, validation, and production.

Key Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in managing the complete cycle from new product introduction to manufacturing process establishment and optimization.
  • Prior involvement in supporting manufacturing at Electronics Contract Manufacturing facilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all levels; adept in collaboration, organization, and prioritization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in defining, developing, and executing test strategies for electronic manufacturing.
  • Experience in transitioning products from design to manufacturing within a cross-functional team.
  • Proven track record in fast-paced iterative design environments for high-speed digital processing electronic products, with familiarity in RF products being advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively communicate project status and updates across various departments and disciplines.
  • Strong capability to interface with Product Development Engineering resources.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient communicator capable of functioning both independently and collaboratively.
  • Extensive experience with electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, frequency generators, spectrum analyzers, DMM).
  • Proven ability in conducting root cause analysis and presenting findings coherently.
  • Deep understanding of Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) methodologies.
  • Proficient in reviewing and assessing engineering changes, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Experience with Product Life Cycle Management systems such as Arena, Agile, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating hardware designs to define test coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate status updates using established collaboration tools.
  • Develop clear and concise Manufacturing Assembly and testing procedures.
  • Manage the workstream of the Manufacturing project plan; responsible for document adjustments, revisions, and component procurement for manufacturing and testing validation.
  • Conduct manufacturing engineering tasks related to product design integrity to ensure quality and cost-effective production.
  • Advise engineering teams on existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to aid in design development; coordinate with support groups to ensure capabilities and capacity are developed for new products.
  • Ensure efficient manufacturing processes by meeting quality, cost, operating specifications, and customer/company standards. Apply DBS principles to enhance production processes and achieve cost reductions.
  • Plan, define, and implement new manufacturing systems as required for new product introductions.
  • Ensure design manufacturability. Refine, modify, or provide input into applications, processes, and devices as necessary to meet manufacturing and testing requirements. Analyze data, evaluate, and implement improvements to fulfill contract, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation of manufacturing schedules that align with program milestones.
  • Work independently or collaboratively to resolve program issues utilizing data-driven root cause analysis; diligently apply corrective actions.
  • Exhibit the ability to organize information, job tasks, and manage time for optimal and cost-effective performance.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE).
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is a plus.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing.
