Job Description

Cynet Systems is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Windows Server Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory Services, to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including Azure AD, DFS, and Azure Cloud Privileged Access management, to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI to streamline infrastructure management and reduce manual errors.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, including GDPR, ISO27001:2002, and HIPAA, by implementing robust security measures and data encryption protocols.
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime and data loss in the event of a disaster.
  • File System Protocols and Integration: Ensure proper integration of file system protocols, including NFS, SMB, and HDFS, with Isilon storage solutions and various applications.
  • Storage Management: Manage and optimize storage resources using Isilon's API and CLI, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Windows Patching and OS Hardening: Implement and maintain Windows patching and OS hardening best practices for member servers and servers running services such as IIS, Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and SQL Server.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Server engineering and Active Directory Services.
  • Computer Science Degree (B.S) or equivalent with extensive work experience.
  • Expertise in DFS, Azure AD, Azure Cloud Privileged Access management, PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, and Windows patching and OS hardening.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, ISO27001:2002, and HIPAA.
  • Experience with Isilon's API and CLI for scripting and automation of storage tasks.
  • Ability to design and manage robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Expertise in file system protocols, including NFS, SMB, and HDFS, as they pertain to Isilon storage solutions.
