Are you an early career or entry-level Test Engineer looking to work on the bleeding edge of AI hardware technology ZT Systems is seeking a motivated individual to join our team and help develop and execute test plans and scripts to verify product functionality and ensure our cutting-edge products' quality and reliability. As a Software Test Development Engineer, you will work at the forefront of AI cloud computing and hyperscale technology and storage solutions, building innovative solutions to continuously identify and aid in debugging, identifying root causes, and resolving issues as they occur. You will stay up-to-date with the latest AI computing technologies and storage solutions and ensure code quality, performance, and software maintainability.
What You Will Do:
oDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and wrapper tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems.
oUtilize command-line interfaces in Linux or Windows for system debugging and issue resolution.
oContribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
oAnalyze system performance and reliability, providing valuable insights to improve product functionality.
oConduct thorough testing of hardware components, software applications, and operating systems to identify and resolve defects.
oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software test strategies for cutting-edge hardware infrastructure.
oWork closely with hardware and software engineers to understand system architecture and interconnects in a cloud server environment.:
oStay updated on industry standards related to software testing and hardware designs.
oEnhance understanding of hardware designs for effective testing processes.
What You Will Bring:
oBS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
o 5+ years relevant experience in the field
oStrong understanding of hardware, software, and operating system fundamentals.
oGood knowledge of the interconnects of components on a cloud server.
oAbility to debug the health of a system using command-line interfaces in Linux or Windows.
oAbility to troubleshoot and debug complex issues with limited documentation.
oStrong programming ability (e.g., Python, Perl, C++).
oFamiliarity with Generative AI frameworks and technologies.
oStrong analytical skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
oExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
