Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Digital X-Ray Systems division. This position involves managing customer relationships through the effective application of technical skills to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at various healthcare locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute administrative tasks within regulatory timeframes, including service work orders, expense reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Collaborate with regional teams to enhance operational processes.
- Provide service for a range of medical imaging equipment, including laser printers, CR & DR X-ray systems, and CT scanners.
Travel Requirements:
This role may require occasional overnight travel and will be home-based. A company vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone will be provided.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, reflecting experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package including an annual incentive plan.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in electronics or a related field; higher degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in diagnostic imaging or 4 years in electronics, ideally in a field service context.
- Proficient in computer systems and networking, with a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking skills.
