Key Responsibilities- Perform all admissions activities for pre-admit and face-to-face registration of patients
- Facilitate patient access to Cedars Sinai Medical Center and secure demographic and financial patient registration information
- Verify insurance coverage, Third Party Liability, and Medi-Cal/Medicare eligibility
- Secure cash deposits and explain information to patients and their families
- High School or GED required; 2 years of college preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- 2 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and PC literacy required
- Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
