Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative at the Sulphur Springs YMCA will play a vital role in the operations of the YES Center Call Center. This position is designed to manage both incoming and outgoing communications to assist with a variety of tasks, including membership inquiries, program enrollments, and account modifications. The Representative will focus on improving the overall satisfaction of members and participants through outstanding service.

Primary Duties:
  • Engage with callers to address questions, provide information about programs, and promote events
  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality support
  • Escalate concerns and unresolved matters to management
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet organizational objectives
  • Make outbound calls to contribute to growth initiatives
  • Attend team meetings and comply with organizational policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma is mandatory; an Associate's degree is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred
  • Computer proficiency is essential
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Certifications:
  • CPR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen Administration certifications must be obtained within the first month of employment
  • Maintain any additional relevant certifications as required
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent use of computers and communication devices
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, and lifting
  • Visual acuity and adaptability to various work settings
  • Capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 30 pounds
