Are you an experienced tradesperson with a passion for construction and maintenance? Southern Utah University is looking for a committed individual to fill the role of Facilities Maintenance Carpenter. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities related to the upkeep and improvement of our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor student workers on the correct usage of tools and adherence to construction protocols
  • Perform inspections of buildings and roofs, coordinate maintenance tasks, and manage safety data sheets for materials
  • Utilize, service, and fix a variety of tools and machinery
  • Execute maintenance duties including woodworking, drywall repair, and concrete finishing
