Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at The Contractor Consultants. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and maintaining a safe, organized job site.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise framing crews on-site, ensuring all work is completed according to project plans, timelines, and company standards.
  • Oversee the quality of all framing work, maintaining the meticulous attention to detail that our company is known for.
  • Enforce all safety protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the crew, project managers, and clients, providing clear and open communication to ensure project alignment.
  • Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during the framing process, finding solutions that keep projects on track.
  • Organize and manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site to ensure efficient use of resources and minimal waste.
  • Mentor and train crew members, promoting personal and professional growth in line with our company's values.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, safety incidents, and any changes to project plans.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in framing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of framing techniques, tools, and safety regulations.
  • Proven track record of dependability and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to proactively identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
