Carpenter Foreman

The Carpenter Foreman I is a key member of our construction team, responsible for providing direction and supervision to assigned crew members. This role requires a high level of competence in all facets of construction, including erecting, stripping, and repairing structures made of steel, wood, or plywood. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret construction documents, and will possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
The Carpenter Foreman I will be responsible for:
- Providing direction to assigned crew members
- Installing footing forms
- Building and installing wall and column forms
- Building and installing structural deck forms
- Sets slab-on-grade forms
- Preps and sets tilt-up/precast forms
- Works with building layout
- Ensures a safe work environment
- Participates in training/certifications
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training. They will also be able to read and interpret construction documents.
