About the Role

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Area Vice President of Hospice Operations. This role will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of operational policies and procedures for offices within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of operational policies and procedures for offices within an assigned territory.
  • Direct and coordinate the operational functions for offices within your region.
  • Travel regularly to regional offices/branches to ensure effective management and implementation of operational policies.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to promote hospice services and ensure high-quality patient care in a cost-effective manner.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field may be considered.
  • Minimum of five years of healthcare management experience required.
  • Unencumbered and active RN license in the state of residence (if RN).
  • Hospice or Home Care experience strongly preferred.
