Job Overview

Position Summary:


Accountable for assisting all Distribution Business clients, technicians, and other parts staff in obtaining necessary components and supplies under moderate or direct oversight.


Key Duties:

Adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment.

Performs customer parts counter responsibilities under moderate supervision, which includes answering parts inquiries, welcoming and assisting walk-in clients, completing all documentation, and processing it accordingly, managing cash, check, and credit card transactions.

Fosters a positive relationship with internal and external clients by addressing their needs and concerns promptly. Elevates customer issues to more experienced parts personnel or supervisors when necessary. Maintains a tidy and organized appearance in the customer parts area and parts storage. Aids other parts staff in sourcing and locating intricate parts requests or identifying alternatives under moderate or direct supervision.

Employs various systems, catalogs, and other resources, collaborating with technicians to identify and acquire the parts in the most cost-effective and timely manner.

Demonstrates the ability to recognize and act on opportunities with clients to upsell related products and services, as appropriate.

Undertakes additional responsibilities under moderate supervision, which may include managing inventory levels, shipping and receiving parts, warehouse operations, inventory management tasks, core processing, or other parts-related duties as assigned by management.

Order Life Cycle Systems Knowledge:
Demonstrates the steps within each system screen to process customer orders, order modifications, and respond to customer inquiries to ensure accurate and timely order processing and query resolution.

Order Processing:
Demonstrates the necessary steps to manage the processing of customer orders from order receipt to exception identification and resolution to ensure orders are fulfilled according to customer requirements.

Qualifications:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:


High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, report generation, and advanced computer skills.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience or intermediate knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
