A Day in the Life:

As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for:

  • Baking and preparing pastry items according to specification/recipe
  • Completing assigned tasks in multiple stations
  • Complying with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Reporting problems with the food safety management system to manager and the hygiene and food safety team

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent production skills for high-end pastries
  • Knowledge of different techniques and cuisines
  • Proactive and self-organized
  • Ability to manage through a substantial workload
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines
  • Able to accurately monitor wastage
  • Flexible to work different shifts - days, nights, weekends, and holidays
