Customer Service Coordinator Job Description

Flex-N-Gate Royal Oak LLC is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are met and customer release information is relayed to manufacturing accurately and on a timely basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and requests
  • Maintain shipping records for accuracy
  • Set up and maintain service truck schedules for all locations
  • Ensure accurate shipping requirements are available on a timely basis and elevate necessary shortcomings to appropriate area manager
  • Maintain information on usage, storage, and inventory of all service materials
  • Document all activities as required
  • Generate daily load sheets and requirement listings
  • Monitor customer portals and ensure adequate supply of containers through weekly inventories
  • Monitor activities on the dock and activities of the shippers/receivers
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and instructions
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2-3 years related experience in customer service activities in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a team with customer-focused orientation and strong sense of delivery
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office
