Job Title: Registered Nurse

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Independent Living Association, Inc. as a Medical Care Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate medical care for all residents in the residences, ensuring their individualized needs are met.
  • Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluations to assess and address each resident's medical needs.
  • Supervise client medication administration and ensure adherence to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Coordinator to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) or related field.
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an RN, preferably in an Individualized Care Facility (ICF) or Individualized Residential Alternative Facility (IRA) for the Developmentally Disabled.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of individualized care principles and practices.
