Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead comprehensive market research projects: Design and implement both qualitative and quantitative studies to gain insights into market dynamics, customer requirements, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
  • Develop and enhance customer segmentation frameworks across various products and personas: Identify, assess, and prioritize customer segments based on firmographics, technographics, and behavioral data.
  • Facilitate access to insights: Maintain a centralized repository of research documents, industry analyses, and customer feedback, ensuring accessibility for Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
  • Synthesize and communicate research findings: Aggregate data and feedback from diverse sources, sharing insights through regular presentations, research summaries, and collaborative sessions.
  • Establish and sustain a robust competitive insights program: Monitor key competitors, provide win-loss analysis, and articulate product differentiators.
  • Conduct in-depth competitor evaluations: Analyze key competitors’ products, pricing, marketing strategies, and sales approaches.
  • Monitor competitive movements and emerging threats: Identify new market entrants, product innovations, and shifts that may influence the competitive landscape.
  • Benchmark performance against competitors: Evaluate market share, customer acquisition costs, and other critical metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies: Recommend and implement data-driven approaches for marketing campaigns, sales messaging, and product development tailored to specific segments.
  • Support product development initiatives: Provide insights into market trends and competitor offerings to inform product lifecycle decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a small team that collaborates effectively with cross-functional departments, ensuring alignment and optimal use of market intelligence.


Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, market research, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing market research initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within marketing or a similar function, adept at managing multiple projects within established timelines.
  • Proven ability to balance individual contributor tasks with team management responsibilities, including guidance and performance oversight.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Deep knowledge of B2B segmentation principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to cultivate strong partnerships across all levels of leadership and manage by influence.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in high-growth organizations.
  • Background in software, SaaS, or B2B technology sectors is advantageous.
  • Experience in product marketing.
