Advanced Practice Practitioner (ARNP/PA) - Cardiothoracic Surgery

The University of Washington's Department of Surgery, specifically within the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, is on the lookout for an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join their esteemed team. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in delivering both independent and collaborative patient care within the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), working alongside a multidisciplinary team.

  • Academic position with full-time commitment
  • Engage in the care of critically ill patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
  • Contribute to quality enhancement initiatives and process optimization efforts

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an ARNP or PA-C
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • National certification as an ARNP/PA with DEA registration
  • Demonstrated experience in critical care and management of cardiothoracic patients
  • ACLS certification required
