· Facilitating professional development and crafting individual and team performance enhancement plans for teaching personnel in accordance with the institution's priorities.

· Supervising staff performance and development, including conducting teaching demonstration sessions.

· Overseeing the formulation of the institution's assessment and reporting policies and practices.

· Managing the implementation of operational policies related to student welfare and discipline.

· Leading the development of curriculum in a significant learning domain while engaging in curriculum development across other areas.

· Addressing general discipline matters beyond the purview of classroom instructors.

· Contributing to the overall leadership and management of the educational institution.

· Assisting in the formulation of proposals for school council review and managing the institution's code of conduct.

Key Responsibilities

Recognizing the importance of exemplary practices for enhanced student learning outcomes, the leading educators will be tasked with:

· Directing and managing the implementation of school-wide improvement initiatives associated with the strategic plan and priorities related to Disability Inclusion.

· Overseeing the execution of operational policies and procedures pertinent to Disability Inclusion.

· Leading the enactment of Disability Inclusion reforms in compliance with relevant requirements.

· Supervising key personnel, including teaching and educational support staff responsible for delivering educational adjustments and targeted assistance for students requiring additional support.

· Managing Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP) processes, including the identification of eligible students and the preparation of funding applications.

· Ensuring equitable and effective staffing support for funded students.

· Overseeing the transition of current students to a Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP).

· Coordinating the school’s Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD).

· Collaborating with students, families, and classroom teachers to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for targeted students.

· Identifying additional students who may benefit from an IEP and enhancing staff understanding of IEP development and implementation.

· Ensuring student involvement in setting learning objectives during the IEP process and collaborating with external services to provide necessary adjustments.

· Supervising the documentation of IEPs and ensuring all staff are informed of adjustments for students requiring additional support.

· Overseeing student support group meetings and facilitating targeted interventions.

· Managing the daily activities of integration aides supporting students in classrooms.

· Ensuring that school reporting and assessment align with IEP or DIP requirements for each student.

· Advocating for students with disabilities and additional needs, fostering a culture of high expectations for their learning.

· Integrating evidence-based inclusive education practices into school policies and ensuring parents understand the significance of supporting learning at home.

· Planning and delivering professional development on differentiated teaching strategies for students with individual needs, while coaching staff to enhance their understanding of inclusion principles.
