Healthcare Support Specialist

Sentara is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will also assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment. Additionally, you will provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
