Key Responsibilities:

The Patient Concierge is a vital member of the Cedars-Sinai International care team, dedicated to addressing the customer service needs of our international patients and their families. Your role will ensure a seamless process while promoting high levels of patient and customer satisfaction. You will assist international patients and families in accessing non-medical resources both within the medical center and the broader community.

Key duties include:
  • Handling all customer interactions with utmost hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever feasible.
  • Resolving customer complaints and assisting with inquiries related to services, operational hours, key personnel, and directions.
  • Responding to all customer requests promptly and accurately, maintaining positive and professional relationships through effective communication skills.
  • Administering patient and family surveys to gather feedback.
  • Preparing and mailing welcome packets containing information about Cedars-Sinai, local community resources, attractions, and activities.
  • Triage incoming inquiries, providing coverage for patient lounges and telephonic communications.
  • Meeting and greeting patients and their families upon arrival.
  • Tracking daily lounge visitor logs and concierge services provided.
  • Performing concierge services such as arranging hotel accommodations, transportation, and preparing documents for visa extensions.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized lounge, including managing coffee service and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Managing collaborative spaces within the lounge to ensure efficient use and excellent customer service.
  • Building a network of contacts and resources to accommodate the diverse requests of our clients.
  • Ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with Cedars-Sinai policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinating language access services, dietary needs, and religious accommodations for patients.
  • Establishing effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Fostering strong customer relationships and rapport with partners and client groups.
  • Ensuring practices are inclusive of interpersonal and cultural diversity.
  • Identifying and responding to both internal and external customer needs using available resources.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in high-level customer service or hospitality, with a focus on resolving complex issues.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required.
